Girona is located in the north of Catalonia, between Barcelona and the French border. We have explored each corner of it from the Jewish Quarter to the most residential neighborhood, Salt. Every week, during class breaks, we planned if catching a train to go to Figueres to visit Dalì Museum or renting a car and camp in La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. The most adventurous of us explored the region on their bikes following via verde one of the numerous cycling trails departing from Girona and branching off to the sea and the Catalan hinterland. We exceeded Catalonia borders and travel around Spain on each possible means: by train, by bus and by car. Though trains and buses are the cheapest way to travel, we enjoyed blablacar trips throughout the desert around Zaragoza and up to the north till the ocean.
